Keep an eye on the NZCT AIMS Games website - www.nzaimsport.co.nz/ The dates are set for 2012 and the AIMS Games are held from 9 to 14 September. Rugby League joins the sports options available for this "must participate" event for Y7 & Y8 students.

Congratulations to Phil Tappenden, (Kirkwood Intermediate, Christchurch), Louisa Barham, (Peachgrove Intermediate, Hamilton), Doug McLean, (Whakatane Intermediate), Sharon Keen, (Casebrook Intermediate, Christchurch), Peter Weir, (Sir Douglas Bader Intermediate, Sth Auckland) and Ross Leach, (Dunedin North Intermediate) for their election to the NZAIMS executive.

They join Ross Tyson, Vice President ( Cambridge Middle School) and Gary Sweeney, President, (Pukekohe Intermediate School) from the start of 2012.

Farewell to Dr Brian Hinchco, Snr Vice President, (Papatoetoe Intermediate, Sth Auckland), Christine Cooper, (Weymouth Intermediate, Sth Auckland), Wendy Esera, (Evans Bay Intermediate, Wellington) and Angela White (St Margaret's College, Christchurch).

We also farewell Kelvin Fah from Evans Bay Intermediate and Kelvin has been providing secretarial services to the executive. Your work for all NZAIMS members and as part of the executive team has been greatly appreciated and we wish you well.

Congratulations also to Angela White. Angela has been appointed as Executive Officer at MYSA. www.mysa.org.au/ We look forward to working with you in your new role Angela and look forward to the MYSA conference in 2013.
